The fishing tree 32”-9 branch helps more of your smallest fish reach the juvenile stage. All of our Fishing Trees have large branch openings providing safe zones for smaller fish that feel threatened to swim inside the trunk. In addition, the inside and outside surface of all the fishing trees trunks provides 1,500 square inches of surface area for periphyton, a complex algae mixture, to grow. It serves as a vital food source, contributes to oxygenation and improves local water quality. The 9, 48” long branches are in a circular array around the trunk and are V shaped to capture sediment thus providing additional food sources from an entire community of organisms.
