The Fishing Tree FT-32-9B is designed to help more young fish survive and reach the juvenile stage by providing valuable refuge and feeding habitat. Its open branch structure creates protected areas where smaller fish can seek shelter from predators, while large trunk openings allow quick access to the safety of the trunk interior.
Every Fishing Tree trunk provides approximately 1,500 square inches of surface area, both inside and out, for periphyton growth. This nutrient-rich community of algae and microorganisms serves as an important natural food source, contributes to oxygen production, and helps improve local water quality.
The FT-32-9B features nine 48-inch branches arranged in a circular pattern around the trunk, creating effective fish-holding cover while maintaining open water access. Each branch is V-shaped to capture sediment and organic matter, supporting a diverse community of aquatic organisms that provide additional forage for fish.
