The Fishing Tree FT-48-18B creates an exceptionally dense underwater habitat that supports fish of all sizes. Its 18 branches, each 48 inches long, form a high-density cover structure around the trunk, providing protective habitat for juvenile fish while creating ideal ambush points for larger predator species.

With an assembled diameter of 48 inches, the FT-48-18B closely mimics the structure of a natural submerged tree. The trunk provides approximately 2,300 square inches of surface area for periphyton growth—a diverse community of algae and microorganisms that serves as a valuable food source, contributes to oxygen production, and helps improve local water quality.

The 18 V-shaped branches are designed to capture sediment, organic matter, and biomass, creating additional feeding opportunities and supporting a healthy aquatic ecosystem.

Every Fishing Tree includes an integrated cement block adapter, reducing installation costs and simplifying deployment. Simply attach your own concrete block, and the buoyant tree will remain upright on the bottom, resembling natural fish-holding cover.

The FT-48-18B is also fully modular. Using the affordable FT-COLLAR connector, you can stack a 32-inch Fishing Tree on top or connect multiple 48-inch trees end-to-end to create custom structures 8, 12, 16 feet—or even longer—with varying branch densities. Self-locking branches pass through both the collar and trunk, creating a strong, self-aligning connection.

Whether suspended from a dock slip, deployed in a boat well, or installed on the lake bottom, the FT-48-18B can provide effective fish habitat at virtually any depth. Fishing Trees assemble in minutes and can be deployed from a dock or simply tossed from a boat, where they sink into position and remain upright.
