This 48” tall Fishing Tree has 27 -48” long branches creating an ultra high density branch complex around the trunk providing cover for juveniles and ambush points for predators. Its like our 48-18B on steroids. And all of our Fishing Trees have an integral cement block weight down adapter that saves you money. You only need to provide the cement block. Assembled FT-48-27B measure 48” in diameter. The inside and outside surface of the 48” tall Fishing Trees trunks provides 2,300 square inches of surface area for periphyton to grow, this is a complex algae mixture that serves as a vital food source, contributes to oxygenation and improves local water quality. The 27 V shaped branches capture biomass that further supports water quality and adds more food profiles. The extra 9 branches on the FT-48-27B adds an additional 1,300 square-inch of surface area for even more algae growth. All of our 48” tall trees can be topped with our 32”or 48” tall trees utilizing the Fishing Trees low cost connection collar. The FT-Collar can also connect any 48” Fishing Tree end to end to create 8,12, or 16 foot high or even longer Fishing Trees with varying branch densities. The self locking branches thread through the collar and trunk for a solid connection. Tied off from a dock slip end or deep in a boat slip, you can have fish cover at any water depth throughout the year without needing cover adjustments. Fishing Trees assemble in minuets, then can be hung or deployed from docks or can easily be tossed off a boat and the Fishing Tree will sink to the bottom. Our buoyant Fishing Trees zip tied to your cement block will remain upright resembling a natural sunken tree. Studies show that fish populate new cover just a few hours after cover introduction.
